thumbnail_img_7052On Friday 12 August more than 3000 Queensland students from year levels 5-10 participated in a practical science lesson at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, looking to beat a current Guinness World Records achievement. Cocom PR coordinated media coverage of the event and was very pleased with the publicity results with audiences of more than 1.96 million being reached across Australia. Media highlights included a 3-minute live cross with Nine’s TODAY show, live crosses from ABC TV and very strong pre-publicity in the form of radio interviews and newspaper articles with event spokespeople Premier Anastasia Palaszczuk, Minster Leanne Enoch, Dr Geoff Garrett AO and teacher, Anne Brant.
