Liz Cantor has managed to combine her love of surfing and all things outdoor with a passion for film and television with a career that started as a professional surfer touring the world and representing iconic Australian surfing company Billabong, while also appearing in Australian feature films and television series including ‘Gettin’ Square’ and ‘Blue Water High’.

After winning popular Network 7 reality show, ‘ The Mole’, Liz went on to hosting national television series – The Great Australian BBQ on 7mate with Mike Goldman, cementing her as a firm fixture within the industry. She then went on to present on the popular Great South East weekly lifestyle program and sister productions, Queensland Weekender and Creek to Coast as well as regular appearances for live lotto, beach and surf reports and weather in Queensland.

Fast forward to 2016 which saw Liz and husband Ryan Lysaught representing Australia in the first ever adventure reality TV show to be shot in 4k ultra HD. ‘Living Stone- Botswana’ by the creators of Survivor, saw them battling other couples from around the world in Africa’s harshest conditions. Screening internationally later in 2016 on the new network INSIGHT TV.

As an ambassador for the Brisbane Racing Carnival, Suzuki and a regular guest on breakfast radio shows, GOLD FM, SEAFM and HIT105, Liz is also spokesperson for the Michael J Fox foundation ‘Shake it Up’, raising funds to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Liz enjoys living on the Gold Coast and counts Bali as her ideal holiday destination.

With her relaxed presenting style, combined with a friendly and down to earth persona, Liz connects with her audience and moves from a casual to highly polished presenter effortlessly.
